Born in 1966 in the city of Tehran, I dreamed of a day when I could pursue my passion for the arts. My love for art expanded beyond painting to music and crafts. It expanded so, it lead me to take lessons in the Persian setar, crafts and above all oil painting.
I started taking painting lessons in 1989 from famous Persian artists, such as Abbas Katouzian. To further my education in art, I attended and graduated from Azad University in Tehran with a degree in fine arts with emphases in drawing and oil painting.
I believe in the constant broadening of horizons. Everyone should be given the opportunity to learn and excel in their learning. From this belief sprung my love for teaching and inspiring people to express their creativity. I started teaching drawing and oil painting while in Iran until 2005 when my family and I moved to Cyprus.
During our stay in Cyprus, I continued to expand my knowledge and experience in drawing and painting at the University of Nicosia. Not abandoning my love of teaching, I continued to teach in Cyprus.
In August 2010, my family and I moved once again to Beverly Hills. I opened my art gallery in Westwood. I choose to depict visions highlighting the grace of human beneficence through a warm nostalgic palette.
I currently own Guiti Art Gallery at 1357 Westwood Blvd, Los Angeles 90024. I teach both adult and children. My students ages range from 5 to 92 years old. It is never too late or too early to start learning art. In addition, I offer painting and frame restorations. I can also change the colors of your existing painting to match your desired colors and home decoration.
